CASE STUDY
Roebuck Buildings constructed a blended material structure for Reidville Fire Department utilizing both pre-engineered metal building and conventional wood framing coupled featuring a masonry interior, load bearing walls with metal wall panels and metal standing seam roof panels. Cupolas with glass provide natural lighting for the truck bay and day room, and the build included separate living quarters for fire department and EMS personnel. The primary truck bay accommodates six fire department vehicles, and a separate bay serves EMS vehicles. Full vision overhead garage doors are equipped to close behind trucks when they leave on an emergency call. The building features offices, conference and training spaces, a covered patio with built-in grill, and a generator that can power the entire building.
